Edward Louis Emmert

Mr. Edward Louis Emmert age 86, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Edward was born September 20, 1935, in Hudsonville, Michigan, to the late Louis Edward Emmert, and Lucille Lemmick Emmert. 

He was a member of the National Guard for many years. Edward was a greeter at Wal-Mart for over 20 years.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife Rachel Emmert, and his second wife Jennifer Emmert.

Surviving are his sons; Mark Emmert, Mike Emmert (Lauran), Harry Emmert (Linda), Blake Emmert (Kelly).  Brother Ronald Emmert (Alice) and a sister Rose Farraher.  7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with Edward’s wishes he will be cremated, and no services will be held.
