Dorothy Mae Barber

Dorothy Mae Barber, age 79, of Signal Mountain passed away June 13, 2018. She was a member of Community Baptist Church on Signal Mountain.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Winston Barber, Sr.; parents, James and Vesta Roberson; brother, Jesse Roberson; sister, Lois R. Holbrook; and brothers- in-law, Aaron Bice and Bill Ables.

Those left to cherish her memory include: sons Winston Barber Jr. (wife) Angela and Barry Barber (wife) Lisa all of Signal Mountain; daughters, Carol Barber of Corryton, TN and Teresa Baugh (husband) Shannon of Andersonville, TN; brothers, Ray Roberson and (wife) Georgette of Bermuda and Harold Roberson (wife) Brenda of Flat Top Mountain; sisters, Norma Bice of Hixson and Anne Ables of Soddy Daisy; grandchildren, Seth Barber, Shane Barber, Tiffany Parker, Heather Wilbanks, Joshua Barber, Sean Campbell, Jared Barber, Dakota Barber, Melinda Penney, Amanda Frazier and Krista Barber; several great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 10am – 12pm Tuesday June 19 with the Funeral Service to follow at 12pm at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace, Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
