Donna Ruth Castings, 62, passed away peacefully this week at Erlanger North Hospital. A Celebration of Life Visitation with the family will be held 2-4, Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Red Bank Church of Christ. Donna was a loving mother, delightful grandmother and kind-hearted daughter. Donna had an infectious smile, and earned the love and admiration of those who knew her. Her love of music and dancing continued to her final days. She was preceded in death by Robert Anderson Agnew, Sr. and William Joseph Garrett. She is survived by numerous family members and loved ones including her husband, Ned Tharp; her daughter, Laura Ruth Castings, her Granddaughter, Emma Soleil; her Mother, Jimmie Ruth Garrett; brothers, Robert Anderson Agnew, Jr., Michael Edward Agnew, and Richard DeLay Agnew; her aunt, Linnie Rhea Curtis, faithful friend, Debbie Knowles Allen, and several nephews and nieces. She was a graduate of East Ridge High School (1974) and University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She worked in government service for the majority of her career, serving as an employee of TVA and Internal Revenue Service. She attended Red Bank Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to send contributions to Red Bank Church of Christ in memory of Donna Castings.
