David Lee Morgan

David Lee Morgan, 52, of Red Bank, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at home.  David was a well known jeweler in the Chattanooga area skilled in design, repair, sizing, stone setting, soldering, custom and many other areas related to the maintenance and care of jewelry.

David was friend to all who knew him. He loved people and enjoyed their company. He was always willing to help someone needing help. He loved to laugh and talk to others, just being there for anyone who needed his help was rewarding to him. He was a kind, generous, loving person to everyone.

David was born on July 22, 1970 to Wilma Pack Martin and Travis Morgan.

David was preceded in death by brothers, Joshua and Jeremy Chaney; and sister, Donna Jean Jarrett.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Annette Morgan; two children, Shammarie and Nathan Valdez; two grandchildren, Trasean and Lashaunti Elliott; brother, Travis Levi Morgan Jr.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Now his shop is dark and his jeweler’s bench is quiet and the Lord has called him home.

Visitation is 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.  Funeral services are 11:00 am Monday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Horner officiating.
