Daphne McElhaney, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018. She has been an employee of Sears, Red Bank Hospital and TVA. Mrs. McElhaney was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob McElhaney; son, Rick McElhaney; a sister, brother and her parents.
Survivors include her son, Tom McElhaney (Pat) of Covington, GA; daughter, Renee Parnell (Gary) of Decatur, TN; sister, Inez Jackson (Bill) of Lafayette, GA; brother, Billy Ralph McKenzie (Masako) of Washington; sister-in-law, Billie Smith of Chattanooga; her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, with Pastor Patrick McKenna officiating. Interment will follow in Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery
