Clyde Wilma Goins

Clyde “Wilma” Goins,99, passed away on Saturday, December 29,2018. She was born on February 11,1919 in Evensville, Tennessee to Riley P. Burchard and Rose Yother Burchard. Wilma was a member of Vine and Branches Foursquare Church in Dayton, Tennessee. She was retired from Dixie Yarns. Wilma loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed walking. She was preceded in death by brother, Dallas Burchard; brother, Beal Burchard; brother, Clarence Burchard; brother, Carl Burchard; brother, Boyd Burchard; sister, Holly Schanley; sister, Pearl Johnson; sister, Georgia Riggs; and sister, Geraldine Crawley. Wilma is survived by her children: Shirley Goins Cox (Bruce) of Soddy Daisy, Tommie Goins (Sherry) of Hixson; grandchildren: Christy Cox Thurman (David), Melanie Goins, Mark Cox (Kim), Natalie Goins Hardy (Bubba) and Mathew Goins; seven great-grandsons, sister-in-law Gladys Burchard and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for the care provided during her last days. Also a special thanks to the staff at the Vascular Institute of Chattanooga. Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 pm at Lane Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 . Funeral Service will be held at 2pm at Lane Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
