I can't stop sitting here, waiting for you to come banging on my front door like you do almost everyday. It's been so hard for everyone. You touched so many hearts and life's In a way that no one could ever do like you did. I will always be there for your family and specially your son. Levi is an amazing little boy and he deserves the world. I can't wait till he grows up and I can tell him all about us growing up together & how much of an amazing person and father you were. Dakota made me an Aunt for the the first time 2 days before my own birthday. I was holding my breath hoping he would wait a little longer to be born the same day I was. This boy cried the first 3 months with colic and I remember my sister so tired because she held him and comforted him day and night. He was always such a beautiful child full of energy. Everything Dakota done it seems he mastered. We will miss his positive words and his presents. I never heard him say negative word to anyone. And he was so respectiful and loving even when he didnt fully agree with whatever might have been happening in our lives at the time. 8 will never forget the small and simple things about my nephew. For he was a precious soul as well as a beautiful man. I was always so proud of you boy. I hope you knew it. Fly high. We will all miss you so much.

We fell in love with Dakota the very first time we met him,I will never forget that day or him. He became a best friend to my grandson Caleb when they both were age 2,later becoming a big brother to our grand daughter Brooke, and my we considered Dakota as our grandson as well. My entire family loved that funny very smart little boy,and we all have memories with him that make us smile, actual laugh. As he grew into a handsome young man and father,I thank God I had the opportunity to tell him, We have and would always consider him as our grandson and forever love him' just never in our wildest did we think he would leave us so quickly in life. As I look to the sky I will now look for your art work in the clouds ...fly free Dakota💗 forever in our hearts 💔 Nana and Popa
