Charles William "Bill" Ward

Charles William “Bill” Ward, 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 after a lengthy illness.  Bill was born on November 22, 1932 in Chattanooga and was a lifelong resident.  He was a bricklayer by trade.  He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.  

He is survived by his brother Pat (Betty) Booth of Harrison, TN, his daughter Joan (Richard) Williford of Chattanooga, two sons, Bobby (Sylvia) Ward of Soddy Daisy, and Donald Ward of Red Bank and four grandchildren; Scott Williford, Dustin (April) Ward, Becky (Jonathan) Bednar, and Kevin (Hannah) Ward, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 14 with visitation from 1-2 followed by the funeral at 2:00 in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Reverend Gladden Coe officiating.  Or by livstream visit

Burial will be at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
