Carolyn Manzer

Carolyn Anne Manzer, 60, of Chattanooga, TN passed away much too soon on March 6, 2019. She was born to Donald and Giaconda Dykstra on August 29, 1958 in New York, NY. She then spent her early childhood in Chicago, IL where she made many lifelong friends. After moving here in 1971, she made Chattanooga her home. With her one of a kind personality, she enjoyed music, people, and life to the fullest. She was kind to all and will be truly missed.                                                                                                                                                                                         She is survived by her three sons, Gustave Godbold, III, Sam Manzer, and Alec Manzer; her mother, Giaconda Dykstra; her two brothers, Gerrit Dykstra and Louis Dykstra; and her granddaughter, Alyssa Godbold. She also leaves behind two former husbands Mark Manzer and Gustave Godbold, II. In addition, she leaves behind many dear friends in Chattanooga, Chicago, and beyond.                                   A visitation will be held at Lane Funeral Home on Sunday March 10 , 2019 from 12pm to 2pm with Celebration of Life Service starting at 2pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. All our welcome to attend.
