Carl Price

Carl Edward Price, 83, went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2019 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born on September 28, 1935 in Lenarue, Kentucky Carl was the son of Taft and Vera Price. He graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University where he met his wife of 63 years Alice Dianne Flannigan.
After graduating college and marrying the love of his life; Carl went on to dedicate over 34 years of his life as an Executive Leader at both Provident Life and Accident as well as Protective Life. Carl belonged to The Point Church of Signal Mountain. He loved God, his family, golf, and sports. He will be remembered for his words of wisdom, hard work ethic and drive, as well as his love for vanilla ice cream.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Taft and Vera; his sister, Margaret Jones; and brother, Paul Price.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Price and their three children: Cathy (James) Hicks, Bill (Debbie) Price and Jeff (Sandy) Price - their children’s spouses, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Burns.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Lane Funeral Home ~Ashland Terrace. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
