Brenda Gail Chambers

February 23, 1957 ~ July 22, 2020 (age 63)

Heaven gained one of its most valuable Earth angels when Gail Q. Chambers died at the age of 63. Gail Chambers was born on February 23, 1957 in Baltimore, MD to Betty and Edwin Quade. She grew up in Orlando, FL. The youngest of three girls, she spent much of her youth enjoying time by the family pool and weekend trips to the ocean. Shortly after graduating from Maynard Evans High School in 1975, she moved to Chattanooga, TN. In 1986, she became the best mother in all the land to Kacie Lynn. Gail worked as an administrator at Heil Environmental where she met the love of her life, Glenn; Gail and Glenn were blessed with 20 years tending the gardens they created together, joyfully cultivating their family as well as their tomatoes. She enjoyed gardening, being at the beach, and cooking delicious meals—her banana bread is a universal love language. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She passed away peacefully on July 22, 2020 at her home in Chattanooga after a courageous battle against cancer. She is survived by her husband, Glenn M. Chambers; her daughter, Kacie L. Chambers; her sons, Wes Chambers and Patrick Chambers, daughter-in-law Shelton, and granddaughters Carson Mae, Lulu, Adie Grace; her sister, Cheryl Davis, and nephew, Shane Nowlen and his wife PJ; her sister, Nancy Masten, and brother-in-law Keith Masten; her niece and nephew-in-law, Nicole and Joe Gilbert, and her great-niece, Caelan; and her nephew, Samuel Masten. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Edwin, and her stepfather, Paul Logan. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private family visitation at 10 AM and private service at 11 am on Friday July 24. The service is available online via
