Bonnie Colleen (McGinnis) Baker

Bonnie Colleen McGinnis Baker, quietly passed away at home with her family surrounding her on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the age of 93. She is finally home with Jesus, whom she loved beyond measure, wrote poems about, and unceasingly prayed to on behalf of her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Henry F. “Jeff” Baker, and her son, Steven Baker.

She is survived by her daughters: Debbie Collins, Shirley Troxler (Craig) and Lesia Lambert (Eddie).She is also survived by several grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and many beloved friends.

A graveside service will be held in Chattanooga Memorial Park on Friday, September 30, at 11:00AM. Pastor Patrick McKenna of Mountain Creek Baptist Church will be officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to her church, Mountain Creek Baptist, 1001 Mountain Creek Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37405.
