Bobby Clark McClure

Bobby Clark McClure was born December 8, 1938 in Evansville, Tennessee. He lived in Tennessee all his life ending up in Hixson, Tennessee. He moved on to glory on January 8, 2020 at 9:45pm at the Hospice of Chattanooga at the age of 81.

Bobby was a man of few words, but had a huge impact on the lives that he touched. He had a great work ethic and retired from Dupont after almost 40 years. Bobby was a man who knew and understood the word dedication. He was dedicated to his beloved wife whom he adored and was married to for 60 years. If you knew Bobby, you knew that his family was everything to him. In his younger years he loved to go water skiing, camping, and he thoroughly enjoyed tinkering and working on cars and various things. He took pride in being a mason in which he reached the 32nd degree master mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents James L McClure & Katie Vincent McClure and his siblings Lillian Carney, Manola McClure, James V McClure, Mary Ellen Davis, Charlene Carney, Joanna Patterson, and Ralph McClure. He was also preceded in death by his children Russel McClure and Michelle McClure King. He is survived by his wife Micki McClure and son Tim & Rachel McClure and son in-law Darrell King as well as his sister Linda Holmes. He is also survived by his grandchildren Emily McClure, Tucker King, and Chris King. He also was survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday January 12, 2020 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
