Bobby Lee Branche, 77, died May 27,2017. He was raised in the Holston United Methodist Home for Children in Greeneville, TN. He was an Air Force veteran and a graduate of The University of TN at Chattanooga. He retired from the TN Department of Human Services after 33 years of service. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and worked in the youth department.
He was preceeded in death by his sister, Barbara Varnell and house mother Kay Shanton.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Campbell Branche and daughters, Kathy Branche Carney and Jennifer (Ralph) Potter. He loved and was proud to be Papa to his eight grandchildren; Jud and Ann Campbell Potter, Nakia, Shannon, Leah, Clay, Aaron, and Jesse Carney; siblings Louise (Tom) Terry, Tom (Kay) Lyle, Jack (Claudia) Branch and Carl (Susan) Branch.
The family would like to express gratitude to Hearth Hospice and escpecially to Lora Baker who became like family. Lora was knowledgeable, compassionate, cheerful and insightful beyond expectation.
