Bernice Foery Maxwell

Bernice Maxwell of Signal Mountain, TN, Thursday, November 28, 2019: Bernice Foery Maxwell, 99, went to the Lord in peace on Thanksgiving Day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert and her brothers, Walter, Frank and Thomas. She is survived by her son Gregory, daughter-in-law Laurel Worthington, granddaughter Ruth Johnson, and many generations of nieces and nephews. She was born in Rochester, New York, and spent her first 96 years there. She graduated in 1941 from Nazareth College, and was employed as an administrative professional for many years at a number of places, including Xerox (Haloid). She enjoyed travel, cooking, dancing, bowling and other activities. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Al Sigl Community of Agencies.
