Bernice Gentry, 83, went to Heaven on the morning of Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born Bernice Mary Sherrill in Cleveland, Tennessee January 18, 1939. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN. She married Charles Gentry on May 1, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gentry; son, Rick Gentry; daughter, Ayme Gentry; brother, Keith Sherrill; and granddaughter, Brielle.
She is survived by her sons, Nathan Gentry and David Gentry; grandsons: Matthew, Derick, Alex, Charles, Erik; and granddaughter, Milayna.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace at 12:00PM. Family and friends are encouraged to gather at the funeral home at 11:00AM for visitation with the family. A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery at 2:00PM after the service.
