Berlis J. Chadwick

Berlis J. Chadwick, age 88, of Signal Mountain, passed away peacefully at his home on June 3, 2018. A native of Valley Head, Alabama, he was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Nell B. Chadwick and a sister, Doris Palmer. Berlis retired as General Manager of Kenco, Inc.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Leona York Chadwick; four daughters: Kay Hobgood and husband Bob, Shelly Deaton and husband Jack, Jan Rubio, Amy Gibson and husband Cary; sister, Nancy Wilkes; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and family.
The family will receive friends 4:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday, June 5 with a 6:00pm funeral service to follow at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
Interment will be 11am CDT Wednesday at Fischer Cemetery, Lookout Mountain, Ft Payne, AL. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
