Anthony Jason Burke

Anthony “Jason” Burke, 51, of Lookout Valley, passed away under Hospice Care on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was a 1989 graduate of Lookout Valley High School. He loved fishing, watching the Braves and Vols play, and playing the drums. But more than anything he loved his children and watching them play sports and excel in life. Jason gave his heart to Jesus and was baptized and we have peace knowing he is in Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Susie Burke; maternal grandparents, Edgar and Peggy Cross; and father, Jim Burke.

Survivors include his children, Hunter Burke, of Soddy-Daisy, TN; and Ally Burke, of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; mother, Suzie Burke, of Tracy City, TN; sister, Gina (Rick) Wright, of Tracy City; Step-Mom, Joyce Burke, of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; childhood friends, Wayne Waldrop and David Berry; aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.

A special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga Care Facility and the nurses who provided excellent care: Jennifer, Kathy, Erica, Monira, Dianna, Erin, Eric, Mike and Mo and his Social Worker, Ivan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00pm and Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace with a memorial service to follow.
