Michael Edward Miller, age 63, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2017 after a battle with cancer.
Michael was a long time resident of Cleveland, TN and was currently residing in Hixson, TN.
He was retired from Maytag with 25 years of service. A member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church
Loved by his family and friends and was affectionately known by many as “Papa Mike”

Survived by: Wife Gail Miller, Hixson, TN; Daughter Tracy Rogers (Vincent) of Cleveland, TN;
Son Michael Scott Miller of Cleveland, TN; Granddaughter Jordan Rogers of Cleveland, TN;
Sister Susan Young of Cleveland, TN; Sister Mary Brown (John) of Cleveland, TN;
Other children he chose to love as his own: Jason Peterson, Jonathan & Amy Bordean, Adam Peterson, Kevin & Shonda Campbell, Charles Alexander and 10 grandchildren
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 5-8 pm and Wednesday from 12:30-2 pm at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Jonathan Bordean and Reverend Randy Bell officiating
Interment to follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park
