Gladys Workman, 92, of Hixson, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Workman was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She served in US Army Air Corp during WWII at Maxwell Field.
She was preceded in death by her husband, F. L. “Sarge” Workman Sr.
Survivors include her sons, F. L. Workman Jr. and Jack G. Workman (Linda); one grandson, Nicholas R. Workman (Katie); three great-grandchildren: Zoey Anne, Nolan Tucker and Levi Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
Visitation is 4:00-6:00 pm Wednesday followed by a funeral service at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Reverend Brady Wood officiating. Burial will be private in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
