Virginia Sue “Ginny” Swingle, 61, died Monday March 1, 2010 in Washington D.C. Ginny moved to Washington after graduating from Red Bank High School and The University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
She is survived by her parents, Everett Thach and Mary W. Swingle of Chattanooga; sister, Loretta Swingle of Chattanooga; brothers: Everett Jr. (Cindy) Swingle and John (Amy) Swingle, both of Marietta, Ga. and William Swingle of Cartersville, Ga.; niece, Jennifer Swingle of Atlanta, Ga.; nephews: Patrick Swingle of Chattanooga, Brian (Louise) Swingle of Cambridge, MA. and Daniel Swingle of Westminister, Md.
Ginny is loved by her family and will be missed very much.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace with Rev. Bert Jones officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 3 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared at www.lanefh.com. Arrangements by Lane Funeral Home 601 Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
