Barbara Hoffman: John, We will always miss Reen. She was more like a sister to me than an In-law. We had so much fun on the trips that we made together out west and to Hawaii. Our love and prayers are with you always and we will always be there if/when you need us to be. These next few months will be the hardest on you, but just remember that you have a lot of people out there who will be there for you and will be praying for you and Reen always. Love, Frank & Barb

Sam Mullett: We will miss Maureen, she was always a very warm, loving person. Loving life and showing people around her how to do that also. Although there were a few years between us and we didn't get as much time as I would have liked to spend time with her. We will always remember her when we have a daiquiri.
Best Wishes at this difficult time,

Richard Suchomski: To the Family of Maureen LaPoint...
I knew her for a short time many years ago. She was always nothing but kind and very welcoming to me. She was always ready to share a smile...and open her home to me. For that I will be forever greatful. This is a very difficult time for all of you... The wonderful memories that you have, of time spent with her, will keep you strong during the day's, month's and years ahead. I know it's hard... but remember that she is no longer in pain....that is what we all prayed for.. No more pain for her. She was too good of a person...You all loved her, and she knew it... So please accept my sincere condolences during this very difficult time. May God be with all of you. Most of all God Bless Maureen. You will be missed very much.

Mike LaPoint: Reen has always been the type of person that placed everyone before herself. If the majority of the world had her qualities we would all be better off today. Our times with Reen were the best. We have been on many trips and vacations but the most memorable were when we were in Jamaica and Hawaii. That's becasue she was part of them. Two months ago we visited for a short time with Reen and John. Even though she was not feeling well at all, she still had to entertain us. Again thinking of everyone else first. As we reflect on her we will smile, laugh and cry. But most of all we will cherish the memories that she has left us with. You will be missed by MANY !!
